Data Communication in Vehicles (Automotive ethernet)

Services

DestroSolutions includes this training as part of its innovative Cyber Security Training Program.

The number of networked and distributed functions in the vehicle has been increasing dramatically for many years. This leads to increasingly complex communication between the control units. The communication is mapped onto different bus systems. In order to satisfy this hunger for data, increasingly powerful bus systems have been developed and standardized in recent years. The vehicle's onboard data network, consisting of control units, bus systems and gateways, is a complex system that needs to be mastered. The architecture of the vehicle data network, i.e. where the ECUs and gateways are placed and what the concrete bus structure looks like, is of central importance because it not only affects data communication, but also has a strong influence on the wiring harness. The participants should gain an insight into this complex world of data communication in order to be able to design the wiring system of the future in an interdisciplinary team.
